Modalities

There are so many! My studies in Beijing have demonstrated methods that offer great release, and can be offered in many different settings.

What I love about massage is, a few moments of pressure, in the right spot can change your day.

First, a list of conditions which massage treats well:
Headaches, Musculoskeletal aches & tension patterns, tendonitis, anxiety, depression, and high blood pressure.

I have studied the pressure spectrum, and offer Reiki, which is no pressure, to Barefoot Shiatsu, which uses maximum pressure. The most common techniques used are Swedish, a modality using oil, and Tuina, a compression based technique.

The term tui na (pronounced "twee naw"), which literally means "pinch and pull," refers to a wide range of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapeutic massage and body work. Tui na is not generally used for pleasure and relaxation, but rather as a treatment to address specific patterns of muscle tension.

Having studied Maternity and Oncology Massage Therapy, I am able to find safe techniques to meet your goals.
